THE VENUE - MYSTERY CREEK EVENTS CENTRE

AVEX 2008 will capitalise on Mystery Creek Events Centre's international branding and history of delivering high quality international-standard events.

Hamilton International Airport immediately adjacent to Mystery Creek, will also be a key element in the expo. Mystery Creek has world class exhibition facilities to ensure a prestigious event from the outset.

The venue comprises 45 hectares of indoor and outdoor exhibition and demonstration spaces, buildings and infrastructure, vehicle parking and access.

The venue includes use of the 8000 square meter exhibition Pavilion (the largest ever clear span display building in NZ).

Mystery Creek is already home to the NZ National Agricultural Fieldays, the National Motor Show, the National Boat Show and the Transport and Heavy Equipment Expo.

A population catchment of over 1,000,000 people is within 2 hours drive of the venue. A full range of exhibitor and visitor accommodation is within 20 minutes drive of the venue.

Permission has been granted for light aircraft and helicopters to land on site for display and transport purposes (helicopters).

Exhibition Pavilion of over 8,000 square meters. Aerial static display lifting capacity of up to 8 tonne.

Reserved display area in the Exhibition pavilion for unique 'must see displays'.

Live demonstrations (subject to weather). Scenic public flights in helicopters and microlights.

Static displays (light aircraft) including New Zealand built aircraft.

Static displays (helicopters). Heli park and display (commercial and private).

Exhibitors/Trade visitors function (upstairs lounge).

Mystery Creek Events Centre has a range of excellent conference venues and there is a great opportunity to promote conferences of industry related organisations to be held in conjunction with AVEX 2008.
